Gabrielle Guttman

Gabrielle Guttman is the Associate Director of Strategy and New Ventures at Texas Medical Center (TMC). In this role, she is an active member of the TMC Venture Fund and helps drive strategic initiatives across TMC. Through the TMC Venture Fund, Gabrielle supports sourcing and diligence of new investment opportunities, as well as portfolio management, including serving on various boards. She is also part of the Medical Device Labs at TMC Venture Studio, where she helps support early-stage MedTech companies by leveraging TMC’s resources. 

Prior to this, she worked at Johnson & Johnson Innovation as a Business Operations Manager at JLABS at TMC in Houston, Texas. In that role, she managed the local site and led global portfolio management efforts. Gabrielle began her career at J&J in various operations roles across the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. 

Gabrielle received a Bachelor of Science and Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Rice University.
